Alex Miles

Alex has worked in the FE sector for over 18 years and is incredibly passionate about Apprenticeships & Skills development and the organisations she represents. Alex has supported a wide range of training providers, colleges, schools, and employers to promote, engage and improve apprenticeship and employability provision over the years and continues to be an advocate for the FE sector and the training organisations who deliver within it.


Steve Lawrence

Managing Director, EEVT

Steve Lawrence RSA Dip, AIFL Managing Director of EEVT Ltd has worked in the Training and Development Industry for 47 years. Working with 12 organisations nationally, a Non-Executive Director for 6 organisations, sits on 8 Governance committees and a former head Judge on the Asian Apprenticeship Awards and now an Ambassador for the BAME Apprenticeship Awards. His company works with a team of some 8 specialist Freelance Bid Writers, and also works on ROAPT and Matrix Applications with a speciality is growth and funding along with national trends knowledge PQQ, EOI and ITT Applications.


Marios Chrysostomou

Marios began working in Further Education over a decade ago, with various posts including Teaching, Assessing, Curriculum Design and Business Development. He is passionate about giving individuals new skills and progressing them into employment. With a vision to innovate training, he continues to thrive on developing individuals through creating and offering bespoke solutions.


Karen Glencross

Quality Manager,
Talented Training

Karen began her career in Further Education as an IT trainer in the North East of England, moving to Redcar and Cleveland College where she held various posts including Head of Faculty and Quality Improvement Manager. She has since moved into the private training sector holding the post of Quality Manager in two independent training providers, acting as Quality Nominee in two Ofsted inspections.


Amanda Robertshaw

Operations Manager,
Talented Training

With many years’ experience within the FE sector, Amanda has a detailed understanding of operations and creating a culture of service excellence within supply chain management. In her most recent position, Amanda had the responsibility of being the Safeguarding Lead and Mental Health First Aider within a large organisation. She believes that her longevity within the FE sector is due to her ability to establish open and honest relationships with Stakeholders, Learners and colleagues. Amanda creates an efficient and consistent operation and is extremely passionate about the sector.
